How to make an embroidery mockup
- Drop your embroidery file (DST, PES, JEF, EXP or VP3) or a logo image (PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP), or try the sample design.
- Choose the garment, its color and where the design goes. Adjust the size and position.
- Download the mockup as a PNG and send it to your customer.

Is the embroidery mockup generator free?
Yes. You can make and download as many mockups as you like, with no sign-up. Downloads carry a small embroiderycool.com mark.
Is the design shown at real size?
With an embroidery file, the design starts at the size saved in the file. Garment sizes are approximate, so use the mockup as a visual guide, not as a measurement.
Can I use a logo instead of an embroidery file?
Yes. Upload a PNG, JPG, SVG or WebP image and the generator adds a thread texture. A transparent PNG or SVG looks best. It is a preview: the real result depends on the digitizing.
Are my files uploaded?
No. Your browser reads the file on your own device. It is never sent to our servers.
Where do the garment photos come from?
We created them with an image-generation AI. They are blank garments, made only for this tool.
